So, lookin for sumtin to do today, I give my buddy Rick a call and see if he want's to take a ride. After playin phone tag for a few miles, he was ready to roll. We meet in Pelion, S.C. Bout 30 miles south for me, after he arrived, I say I want to ride about 100 miles and quickly deceide to head to Prosperity, S.C. Which was around 50 miles away. Once there we were both extremely cold and found this McDonalds. Rick was ready for some coffee and I was hungry. I ordered the #1 with a coke and drank two cups which I payed dearly for on the ride back as I started to shiver and lasted around 10 miles. After lookin for a place for gas and a restroom we rode out of our way for 10 miles or so. Finally back on track we departed and went our separate ways. Trying to beat nightfall proved impossible and spent around 15 mins on the super slab in the dark. Once home, I could hardley walk, it's like my feet weren't under me. I gave Misty a kiss and went right to the tub for a 30 min soak to warm up, as the feeling came back in my feet, legs and hands they felt like pins were stickin me. I will have to invest in some electric gloves sometime before next winter. But even with the cold and all, I would do the same trip under the same conditions tomorrow, except I would get coffee instead of coke. It was a good ride and I enjoyed it. In total I rode just a hair over 180 miles, not bad for a late afternoon ride in 46 degree weather with no sun shinin', only clouds.....
